About Dibble

Dibble started with a simple, frustrating question: when do I actually plant this? The answer is always "it depends on your zone," but most tools made you do the math yourself. We wanted an app that just told you, for your exact spot, and then reminded you when the day came.

So that is what Dibble does. You enter your ZIP or postal code, and it works out your hardiness zone and your typical frost dates. From there it builds a dated plan for every crop you grow: when to start seeds indoors, when to sow or transplant, and when to expect a harvest. It reminds you at the right time, and it keeps a journal so you can remember what worked.

We built Dibble to be private from the first line of code. There is no account, no ad tracking, and no server holding your garden. Your data lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud. We think a gardening app should feel like a notebook you own, not a service that owns you.
